The "Beer Summit" was held outside on the White House Rose Garden, with the president, Professor Gates, Sgt. Crowley, and Vice President Joe Biden, as far as I know, was uninvited. Everybody seemed to be happy, and getting along great.
When the summit was over, Sgt. Crowley along with the rep of the Cambridge Police, and Crowley's lawyer, held a short press conference, and Crowley read a short statement, and then took questions from the media. The police officer did a great job in reading his statement and answering some damn good questions.
What I liked about Crowley, was that he was very sincere about setting up future meetings with Gates, and see where the two of them go from there. From the answers that he gave, it sounds like good things are going to come out of this, and not only for the city of Cambridge, but for every one of us, as we can all learn a lesson.

I like the positive feeling this post has. I hope that the summit does, indeed, bring good things in the near future. Well done.
